Lube Technician

North Knoxville Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is looking for a Lube Technician to provide light vehicle repair and maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake shoes, batteries, and more. Candidates from other brands and industries such as Firestone, Pep Boys, Jiffy Lube, and Midas are welcome.

$15.00/hr – $18.00/hr, based on experience.

Knoxville, TN

• Perform multi‑point inspection of the vehicle including fluids, battery, brakes, belts, tires, etc.
• Change oil, grease fittings, replace air filters, engine coolant, rotate and balance tires, as needed.
• Use electronic tools to diagnose and repair areas such as tires, brake components, and wheel bearings.
• Maintain a clean, organized shop area and account for all dealership‑owned tools.

• Basic understanding of car maintenance and automotive knowledge.
• Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment.
• Positive attitude, good work ethic, attention to detail.
• Team‑player with excellent customer service and problem‑solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and a current resident.
• Must pass pre‑employment testing (background checks, MVR, drug screening).
