Base pay range$55,000.00/yr - $88,000.00/yr
Position OverviewThe Project Coordinator at Aqua-Chem is responsible for assisting the Project Management team in the delivery of projects within budget and schedule while maintaining communication with the customer.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Location: Onsite;
Knoxville, TN
Pay Range: Dependent on Experience | $55,000 - $88,000

Essential Duties- Support project managers in the execution of a project once a PO is received
- Manage project document tracking, submittal receipt and distribution process
- Participate in project status meetings, providing detailed updates on assigned projects.
- Report on the status of project documents
- Assist in monitoring the overall project schedules and budgets of all projects under his responsibility and taking appropriate measures in case of deviations to meet the schedule and within budget.
- Assist in monitors the quality, safety and other requirements set for the realization of the project.
- Checks and ensures that the commissioning of the installation is coordinated and carried out as specified.
- Serve as point of contact with clients for projects when project managers are unavailable or when requested by a project manager.
- Maintain project records, logs and files
- Prepare and distribute standard weekly/monthly reports
- Provide support for Factory Acceptance Tests and on-site customer coordination and scheduling
- Other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor.
- AS Degree required, bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1 - 3 years administrative experience in a technical environment; or 2+ years as an engineering assistant or EIT
- Experience with engineering and/or manufacturing project management preferred
- US Citizenship required, if assigned to Military projects/contracts.
- Strong computer skills to include MS Office products, MS Project and Adobe Acrobat
- Understand how to use and operate databases. Previous experience with ERP systems preferred
- Able to work overtime as required
