Job Description:
Information Management:
Identify, request, and follow up on necessary information from architects and engineers to ensure project alignment and clarity.Daily Coordination:
Collaborate with Field Supervision and Estimating Personnel on a daily basis to maintain project flow and address any arising issues.Material and Subcontractor Coordination:
Oversee the ordering of materials and the mobilization of subcontractors, ensuring timely delivery and setup.Change Order Management:
Price, issue, and negotiate change order requests with General Contractors, Construction Managers, or Owners.Project Close-Out Documentation:
Manage the preparation and distribution of all required close-out documents.Subcontractor and Supplier Relations:
Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers, understanding their capabilities and ensuring alignment with project needs.Meeting Participation:
Attend key meetings such as pre-construction, project, and staff meetings to stay updated on project progress and requirements.Quantity Tracking and Billing:
Monitor work quantities completed and prepare monthly billing invoices accordingly.Invoice Verification:
Review and approve invoices from suppliers to ensure accuracy and compliance.Project Scheduling:
Prepare and regularly update the project schedule to reflect current timelines and adjustments.Change Order Processing:
Handle the processing of change orders, ensuring that documentation and adjustments are made accurately.Project Execution Management:
Oversee all aspects of project execution, including safety, quality control, and project integrity.Cost Review and Forecasting:
Review project costs and provide accurate forecasting to anticipate future expenses and adjustments.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, or a related field.Experience:
Minimum of 5 years in construction management, project management, or a related field.Skills:
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with project management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and modern construction software tools.
Strong negotiation skills and conflict resolution capabilities.
Excellent ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff, with a commitment to customer service.
Ability to handle confidential information with the utmost integrity.
