TEGNA-owned NBC affiliate in Knoxville is seeking an innovative Senior Producer to shape our daily newscasts. At WBIR-TV Knoxville, we build creative shows that engage, educate and inform our audiences. We prioritize original storytelling and investigative journalism to set our product apart in the Knoxville market. • Ensure all communities and viewpoints have a voice and presence in your show.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in journalism, communications or a related field, or equivalent years of experience.
• 3–5 years of news content experience.
• Top‑notch communication skills are an absolute must.
• Solid journalistic judgement and a news philosophy that emphasizes accurate, fair, and unique local content, along with community engagement.
• Understanding of the tenets of professional journalism.
• Skills in producing engaging, content‑driven newscasts and digital content.
• Strong social media skills, including an active news hound presence on preferred platforms.
• Organizational skills and the ability to work under time‑pressure deadlines.
• Ability to calmly handle live, breaking news situations and changing events.
• ENPS and Edius system experience preferred.
