Our offerings include math enrichment, support for elementary and middle school students, Math Escape Rooms, and small‑group tutoring. At Calculating Minds, we are committed to making math enjoyable and building lifelong confidence through customized, research‑based programs.
Role DescriptionWe are seeking a Part‑time Math Tutor to join our team on‑site at our Knoxville, TN location. Responsibilities include providing individualized and small‑group math instruction, assisting students with foundational math through algebra, and adapting lessons to suit learners' needs. Tutors will also evaluate student progress, offer constructive feedback, and promote confidence in math learning. This role requires a passion for teaching and fostering a positive educational environment.
Qualifications- Strong knowledge of Mathematics, including foundational skills and Algebra
- Experience in Tutoring and Online Tutoring
- Excellent Communication skills to effectively interact with students and parents
- Patience, adaptability, and the ability to inspire confidence in young learners
- Previous experience working with students in a learning environment preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or current college enrollment in a math‑related program is a plus
