This position is part of the Office of the General Counsel (OGC), which represents The University of Tennessee, a statewide system of public higher education. This position will be involved in proactively advising a diverse group of University leaders on matters relating to academic, faculty, and student affairs, including but not limited to academic policies, faculty employment policies, academic freedom, First Amendment, ADA, Title IX, Clery Act, FERPA, and student conduct.
Specific areas of responsibility will be determined based on University and office needs and the successful candidate’s interests and substantive background.
The position is located in Knoxville, Tennessee, but responsibilities of the position will involve service and travel to all campuses and institutes in the University system
