Provide technical support to the Aviation Technology program, including personnel and students during class, AVIT program, and courses, and provide support during the summer.

Duties and Responsibilities- Prepare and set up laboratory activities for instructors and students, ensuring all necessary tools and materials are available and in good working condition.
- Provide technical assistance to faculty and students during lab sessions, addressing questions and facilitating hands‑on learning experiences.
- Provide oversight of open lab time.
- Supervise the study and learning activities of assigned students.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of tools, equipment, and consumables, monitor stock levels, manage reordering processes, and minimize waste through effective resource utilization.
- Airframe and Powerplant Certificate
Applications for adjunct lab technician positions are accepted continuously and reviewed by the department if openings are available. Adjuncts are hired on an as‑needed basis. Future teaching assignments are term‑by‑term, which may include fall, spring, and summer. Postings close yearly on January 31.
