Professional Project Services Inc. has an upcoming opportunity for a Senior Scheduler (Direct Hire) position supporting the USACE District in Los Angeles. Professional Project Services, Inc. (Pro2
Serve) is a nationally-recognized technical and engineering services firm dedicated to providing critical infrastructure engineering services in support of our Nation’s security, supporting defense, energy, science markets, and more.
- Provides expert assistance to USACE client to establish and maintain the schedules for design projects and other internal efforts.
- Provides expert analysis of monthly EVMS, milestone, and performance metrics data.
- Maintains currency of project reporting systems as required.
- Develops, maintains, and recommends improvements to project schedules, reporting metrics, and other features.
- Independently performs or leads teams for formal surveillances.
- Provides primary support to USACE project teams, including reviewing contractor schedules and support documents to ensure compliance with USACE requirements.
- Provides direct assistance to USACE teams within the context of project assignments and expertise.
- Serves as mentor and performs peer reviews of technical work products of employees at lower grades.
- Must have 15+ years of project management and/or scheduling experience with a focus on schedule development and maintenance.
- Relevant and expert experience of which at least 5 years must be on federally funded projects.
- Expert-level skill in Primavera P6 Scheduling software.
- Familiarity with risk software such as Crystal Ball.
- Proficiency with cost processors.
- Must have experience with MS Excel, Access, and Word.
- Project Management Institute Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Environmental remediation project management experience.
- USACE Civil Works experience.
This position may require the ability to obtain a government clearance, including background investigation by the Federal government and drug testing. Subsequent reinvestigations may be required.
