• Vocational/technical training beyond high school and/or a B.S. in Civil, Construction Technology, or related degrees.
• Preference given to candidates with: AA or BS degree in Drafting/CAD, EIT, GPS survey techniques and conventional survey techniques.
• Knowledge of basic drafting and methods using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD troubleshooting methods.
• Understanding of Civil Earthworks, Concrete Structures and MEP work.
• Detailed oriented.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to organize and maintain multiple different models and drawings for various work scopes.
• Working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs.
• Knowledge of structural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing design and modeling.

• Performing Computer-Aided Drafting and Building Information Modeling support services to support Civil Earthworks, Concrete Structures and MEP related work scopes.
• Experience in Earthwork Modeling, Concrete Modeling; familiarity with Alignments and Profile Design; and basic knowledge of Mapping/Coordinate Systems.
• Utilize Computer-Aided Drafting and Building Information Modeling to produce proposal and submittal-quality drawings, layouts and renderings for various work scopes and building features.
• Develop and maintain mechanical, electrical and plumbing drawings to be used for system installation.
• Participate in design and coordination meetings with clients, engineers, subcontractors and others as requested.
• Interpret drawings and models to identify and resolve any project challenges.
• Support field layout and installation of specific work applications.
• Document and track drawing revisions and field changes.
• Strong communication skills.
• All designs will be generated utilizing AutoCAD and Revit software.
• Perform a range of design development, analysis or review tasks under minimal supervision.
• Act as a lead for various work scopes and be responsible for a portion of a design or section of an analysis or design review.
• Establish working relationships between clients, subcontractors and Barnard team members.
• Provide technical training and mentoring to other CAD/BIM staff.
