Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a NASSCO Inspector to work in Atlanta, GA.
Pay RangeBase pay: $31.00/hr - $41.00/hr (actual pay based on skills and experience).
Duties & Responsibilities- Thorough knowledge of wastewater & sewer rehab construction materials, technologies, and equipment.
- Utilize construction inspection, field management, QA/QC and report documentation on municipal water and wastewater treatment projects.
- Maintain quality assurance requirements and monitor code compliance issues.
- Review submittals and construction documents and recommend technical solutions.
- Prepare test results documentation to relay job progress and describe unusual site conditions.
- Learn job-related material through training and classroom instruction on field and lab sampling/testing procedures.
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of inspection experience with a strong background in sanitary sewer systems.
- NASSCO Certified (PACP, MACP and LACP) required.
- Inspector experience required.
- GSWCC Level 1B Soil and Erosion Certificate required.
- GWWI Water Distribution System Operator License required.
- Valid driver’s license and insurable.
- Attention to detail and documentation.
- Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, employees and the public.
- Ability to interact with contractors to ensure work meets required quality.
- Well organized and detail oriented.
- Physically mobile on construction sites and field assignments.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to safely perform essential job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA and other standards.
- Will operate in variable climate and environmental conditions.
