We are seeking a driven Senior Project Manager to oversee federal environmental projects nationwide. Responsibilities include managing client relationships, budgets, schedules, and project resources. Ideal candidates are highly organized, structured, proactive, and possess the leadership and management abilities needed to inspire and guide a project team toward successful outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership in developing junior‑ to mid‑level project managers.
  • Develop and implement procedures for planning, design, and personnel management to meet project objectives.
  • Manage all aspects of budgets, direct costs, and contingencies, providing project‑level financial progress reports.
  • Interact with existing and potential clients to discuss AEC capabilities and expand services.
  • Direct professional and technical staff to complete complex environmental projects.
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors/field personnel.
  • Provide guidance in interpretation of data and compare findings to relevant studies and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Manage project invoicing and cash flow.
  • Apply knowledge of data collection, management, and evaluation.
  • Clearly articulate technical recommendations to clients and regulatory agencies.
  • Develop comprehensive conceptual site models.
  • Apply knowledge of CERCLA and RCRA to projects.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, geology, earth sciences, or a related field.
  • Client management experience.
  • 15+ years of experience in environmental consulting.
  • 6+ years of experience on federal projects.
  • Exceptional communication, teamwork, and influencing skills that foster a collaborative and continuous‑improvement environment.
  • Ability to recommend approaches for new and improved processes.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 40‑hour OSHA Hazwoper training and current 8‑hour refresher. 30‑hour construction OSHA training is valued.
  • Experience interacting with Federal agency Program Project Officers, Contracting Officers, Remedial Project Managers, and technical staff.
  • Established network and relationships within DoD programs (e.g., USACE, AFCEC).
  • Experience preparing proposals, cost estimates, and schedules.
  • Professional licensure (PE, PG, PMP, CHMM).
  • As a condition of employment, you may be required to pass a pre‑employment drug screening and provide acceptable references and background check results.
