• plan/design documents (cad, specs, cost estimates)
• field inspections & materials testing
• survey participation & field data collection
• gis maintenance & mapping
• utilize asset management system
• documentation, records, and reference data upkeep
• assist with site plan reviews
• safety adherence and training
• perform related duties as assigned

level i: assist & execute basic tasks; draft simple cad; data entry; file upkeep

level ii: deliver detailed designs; operate survey equipment; document testing; support bids

level iii: lead complex designs; oversee qc; manage gis; coordinate stakeholders; drive compliance; support budgets/schedules

provides technical support to engineers by performing routine drafting, surveying, mapping, and data collection tasks. Works under close supervision and gains experience in municipal engineering projects in utilities.

• associate degree or cert in civil eng, cad, surveying or related field; 3 years of relevant experience if no degree
• must possess and maintain a valid driver's license
• osha 10 hr. Safety training (obtain within 6 months of hire)
• obtain the following within 12 months of hire:
• work zone safety certification
• flagger certification
• erosion control level 1

responsible for performing complex technical engineering work independently. Supports multiple municipal projects by preparing detailed plans, conducting field inspections, and coordinating with engineers and contractors.

• associate degree in civil engineering or related field; 5 years of relevant experience if no degree
• all requirements of level 1
• obtain the following within 12 months of hire:
• cad certification
• americans with disability act training

position responsible for managing complex engineering technical projects, providing leadership to technician staff, and serving as a key resource for design, inspection, and regulatory compliance.

• associate degree in civil engineering or related field
• 6 years of relevant experience
• all requirements of level 1 and 2
• obtain the following within 12 months of hire:
• trench safety training
