LHH is hiring a Medical Data Entry Specialist for a growing Healthcare organization in Knoxville, TN! The Medical Data Entry Specialist will be responsible for accurately entering and updating patient information into our electronic health records (EHR) system. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter patient information, medical histories, and treatment details into the EHR system.
• Verify and correct data discrepancies.
• Maintain and update patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely data entry.
• Generate reports and summaries from medical data as required.
• Assist with administrative tasks related to medical data management.
• Ensure confidentiality and security of patient information.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent;
  Associate’s degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in medical data entry or a similar role.
• Proficiency in EHR systems and medical terminology.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and compliance.
