The Foster Care Master's Team Leader
1. Is an effective team member.
- Responds to all emails and voicemails in timely manner.
- Attends mandatory treatment team meeting weekly.
- Participates in staff development activities as requested by supervisor.
- Participates in supervision with immediate supervisor.
- Participates in triad supervision with supervisor and case managers
- Takes on additional responsibilities when asked (extra clients, covers co-workers caseloads, committees, etc.).
2. Represents the Center in the community in a positive and professional manner as evidenced by good working relationships (satisfaction survey, referrals, and complaints)
3. Staff are supervised on a regular basis (preferably weekly) and have a good working knowledge of job duties as evidenced by clear, professional documentation of staff strengths and areas of concern with a detailed action plan to address areas of concern
4. Foster professional growth and development of staff through the identification of leadership potential.
5. Completes all required clinical documentation in accordance with Center Policy and Procedure and funding source guidelines.
- Completes comprehensive treatment plan with first 30 days of admit with all appropriate signatures.
- Completes all Quarterly Treatment Plans every 3 months on each client with all appropriate signatures provided.
- Completes Discharge Plan 45 days prior to discharging from the Program when applicable.
- Completes opening paperwork (releases, CPC if applicable, consents, sex abuse packet, program rules, etc.) within first 30 days of tx.
- Completes Contract and Foster Home Checklist the day of admission.
- Completes Progress notes within P&P guidelines.
- Returns required documentation to appropriate administrative personnel as required by TFACTS (includes Foster Home Checklists, Contracts, admit/discharge confirmations, census reports, job requests).
- Communicates case updates to supervisor for Utilization review meetings
- Complete and fax Serious Incident Reports within 24 hours to all necessary individuals at DCS.
- Provides and helps foster parent complete all paperwork (med logs, progress notes, allowance contracts).
- Completes 15 hours of training each year.

COMPENSATION:
- Starting salary for this position is approximately $54,111 /yr based on relevant experience and education.
Schedule:
- Primary working hours are Monday through Friday 8am-5pm
Travel
:
- Must be able to utilize personal dependable vehicle and obtain F Endorsement to provide services in the community.
Equipment/Technology
- Must have basic competency in office applications such as Word and Excel.
- Will have access to desktop phone and computer for scheduling and completing data entry in the electronic medical record.
- Position requires regular use of a computer, and appropriate phone etiquette.
QUALIFICATIONS - Foster Care Master's Team Leader
Experience / Knowledge:
- Experience with foster care required; advanced knowledge of therapeutic interventions and modalities preferred, specific to children and families who've experienced trauma.
Education / License
:
- Master's degree required; licensed eligible degree preferred in social work, mental health counseling, child and family studies, or related field of study.
