Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring assisting our client hire an RN Education Coordinator in Knoxville, Tennessee! This role is in person / on site. Please read below and apply with an updated resume for consideration.
Type: Full time, direct hire role with client
Location: Travel within West and Downtown Knoxville, Oak Ridge, Sevierville, Morristown and Lenoir City
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm
Pay: $38.00 to $43.00 an hour
This position is a leadership role supporting a medical oncology program. Will have oversight of onboarding processes, policy, procedure, and competency development. Will work with oncology nursing leadership team to roll‑out best practice changes and support professional development for clinical teams.
Responsibilities of the RN Education Coordinator- Directs and performs orientation appropriate to all new patient care employees
- Re‑orients and educates current employees to changes in policies and procedures, federal and state guidelines, and regulations regarding care and documentation.
- Prepares, directs, schedules, and provides education and instruction on topics pertinent to health care, new procedures, and high‑tech operations.
- Develops and revises printed forms for documentation to meet standards and improve time management.
- Prepares new policies and procedures along with revising existing policies and procedures.
- Local travel required.
- Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
- Active and good standing RN license in Tennessee
- Two years of clinical experience, preferably in an oncology practice setting.
- Educator experience and Oncology experience are strongly preferred.
