Urgent Team is looking for experienced ARRT Radiology or Limited License X‑Ray Technicians to join our team in the Greater Knoxville area.

Job Summary

This position will perform X‑ray testing, including body mechanics and patient movement, using knowledge of anatomy and physiology. The technician will operate diagnostic equipment, develop film, and prepare the room with the necessary equipment and supplies for each procedure. Additionally, medical assistant duties will be performed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet patients, communicate wait times and instructions, and address patient concerns.
  • Assist front desk personnel with patient check‑in/out procedures.
  • Document patient vital signs, medication history, allergies, and other relevant data.
  • Assist with patient transfers and procedures supervised by a provider.
  • Complete required documentation for each patient visit.
  • Perform timely radiology procedures for evaluation and treatment by the attending physician.
  • Perform quality‑control procedures Primo ensure the quality of exams.
  • Prepare patients for procedures and ensure safety, including radiation protection and shielding techniques.
  • Maintain equipment in proper working order and report malfunctions.
  • Continuously improve diagnostic imaging knowledge and skills.
  • Maintain current licensure and certification for facility radiology equipment.
Schedule

Full‑time team members work a rotating 36–40 hour week schedule, consisting of 12‑hour weekday shifts and every‑other weekend. PRN (per diem) team members are scheduled as needed.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • BLS certification.
  • Arizona State X Chain License.
  • ARRT certification preferred.
  • Experience as a medical assistant preferred.
