Responsibilities- Prepare, review, negotiate, and issue purchase orders for a variety of materials and limited services requiring purchase order only.
- Problem solve and support Business Units and suppliers.
- Collaborate with internal partners and external suppliers to maintain and, as needed, create:
- Supply Chain processes and/or process improvements.
- Supply Chain documentation.
- Supply Chain training.
- Support SC Director with special projects, strategic initiatives, and communications as needed.
- Work independently and efficiently manage multiple priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
- Consider PMP certification in lieu of degree.
- Minimum of 2 years experience preparing and issuing purchase orders for materials and services preferred.
- Consider customer service related communication and problem solving experience.
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills to work with team members, clients, and suppliers.
- Ability to understand and quickly learn supply chain processes and software platforms including ERP system, Supplier portal, and SharePoint.
- Good attention to detail to ensure all Supply Chain products, services, and documentation are accurate.
- Ability to work individually or collaborate with a team to accomplish process improvements, problem solving, and/or project manage initiatives, as directed by SC management.
- Manage your own priorities.
