The Salon Director in Training helps drive store performance, fosters superior client service, and maintains operational excellence. This role manages and supervises tanning consultants, leads by example, and holds the team accountable for delivering an exceptional client experience.

• Monitor and manage daily salon operations in a fast‑paced environment.
• Lead by example, creating a client‑centric experience and meeting personal sales expectations.
• Maintain a professional and impeccably clean salon environment.
• Establish clear goals and objectives for team members.
• Provide coaching, training, and feedback to improve performance.
• Generate sales reports, maintain inventory, and assist with other director functions.
• Assist in controlling top‑line revenue and expenses.
• Maintain proper staffing levels to ensure maximum productivity and excellent customer service while controlling labor costs.
• Work nights & weekends as required.
• Work a 5‑day week, 35‑45 hours per week depending on hourly or salary status.

• Management and/or sales experience required.
• Beauty industry and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to manage effectively in a fast‑paced environment, handling multiple situations.
• Knowledge of client service techniques and operational practices.
• Problem‑solving and organizational/planning skills.
• Strong leadership skills, with ability to coach and mentor.
• Team‑building skills.
• Ability to prioritize and delegate.
