Job Description

The Office of Undergraduate Admissions at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (UTK) invites applications and nominations for our Associate Director of Integrated System position. The minimum starting salary for this position is $86,869. Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.

This position is responsible for providing leadership and supervision related to components of the undergraduate admissions and enrollment management systems. The Associate Director will be responsible for managing and maintaining the units Customer Relation Management (CRM) system (currently Slate). The Associate Director will work to identify new efficiencies that directly impact service to students. This person will provide strategic vision and guidance towards the Enrollment Management Division’s technological ermation system plans.

The position will ensure up to date documentation of policies and procedures related to the data integration and imaging processes. They will be responsible for electrophile a team that is responsible for all incoming documents, data and information used within the application process for undergraduate students. They will be tasked with evaluating the system, optimizing, and ensuring data integrity. They will use best practices to ensure the UT Undergraduate Admissions is continually innovating and providing a high level of service and communication.

Qualifications

Required

Education and Experience:

  • 3+ year of experience working in CRM and SIS management in a university environment

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of HTML, SQL, XML, or other similar ster
  • Advanced skills in a variety of computer applications and reporting tools.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to end users, business stakeholders and management both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize tasks to meet deadlines and follow through on assignments with minimal direction, often tuo pressure.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, discretion, and tact with all levels of constituents.
  • Skills of working independently in a changing environment with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability creating reports (MS Access and Excel).
  • Ability to work with large data sets, verifying and checking data thoroughly for accuracy and completeness, and importing and exporting files between software programs.
  • Knowledge of Banner.
  • Knowledge of recruitment/enrollment process.
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities at one time
  • Demonstrated ability to lead in a team environment, excellent oral, written and interpersonal problem-solving skills

    • Experience with in Slate and Banner (SIS) or Oracle
    • Experience in workflow and automation software

    • Experience working in CRM and SIS management at a large university
