Under the supervision of a Housing Operations Director, the Property Operations/Senior Asset Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of one or more housing developments to ensure decent, affordable, and fiscally sound housing. The property may be a public housing development or private market unit. The incumbent is responsible for supervision of staff, financial management, physical conditions, regulatory compliance, resident/occupancy issues, and community/resident relations.
The property may be a public housing development or private market units.
Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, public administration, social science, or related field and a minimum of four (4) years of experience in residential property management. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications and skill in the use of property management systems.
Preference may be given to those who have earned the Certified Occupancy Specialist designation and or who have experience in PBRA or other affordable housing occupations.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the KCDC’s automobile insurance plan at the standard rate.
EXAMINATIONThe examination will consist of skills testing, reference and background checks, and a structured interview.
