Korean-English Bilingual Mechanical Engineer - Co-op

We are seeking a Korean-English Bilingual Mechanical Engineer – Co-op (1 year) for an automotive parts manufacturing company near Knoxville, TN.

• Analyze current production systems and plan Kaizen/improvement solutions
• Implement solutions to enhance stamping/welding production efficiency
• Coordinate with other departments to improve overall efficiency
• Test new equipment, analyze its efficiency, and assist with installation
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure scheduled maintenance
• Address production and quality issues through effective communication
• Meet daily production goals and adhere to company policies
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related fields
• Co-op/internship experience, preferably in automotive manufacturing
• Knowledge/experience with CNC, PLC, HMI is a plus
• Business-level proficiency in Korean and English (speaking, reading, writing) is REQUIRED
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work responsibly in a multicultural environment
• Team-oriented, punctual, responsible, detail-oriented, self-motivated

This role involves working in manufacturing and/or warehousing settings. You may need to sit, stand, walk, lift up to 40 pounds (or more with assistance), climb stairs, handle parts/equipment, and use vision skills such as close, distance, and color vision.
