The Cell Leader supports Mativ's Health and Wellness segment. This individual will report to the Production Supervisor and will be responsible for coordinating materials and staffing within the cell to ensure the timely manufacture of high-quality products for customers. The shift schedule is Monday-Thursday, 6:00 am - 4:30 pm.

• Optimize work centers by relocating staff and ensuring that materials are available for scheduled areas.
• Updates information on the cell board as directed by the supervisor and may lead the cell board meeting.
• Review and ensure that short-interval control sheets are available and completed on an hourly basis.
• Responsible for training new employees when needed.
• Performs product inspection during the manufacturing process, as directed by the supervisor.
• Monitors changeover and/or line setup efficiency.
• Works with manufacturing staff on quality and production-related issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems.
• Performs inventory transactions as directed.
• Ensure team members follow defined manufacturing procedures and comply with quality requirements.
• Support, comply, and ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations, company policies, and procedures.

• Must have 1+ years of experience leading and assisting small group activities in a manufacturing environment.
• Exercise considerable initiative/judgment in work methods and in interpreting and delegating work requirements.
• Must have strong PC skills and experience with SAP, MII, label software, and Microsoft Office.
• Must be able to use measurement devices such as calipers and rulers.

• Previous experience in a leadership role
