Production Technician II - D1
Join Keurig Dr Pepper Inc. as a Production Technician II (D1) located in Knoxville, TN. Job OverviewShift: D1 Monday‑Thursday, 5:00 am‑5:30 pm.
Responsibilities- Operate and monitor production equipment safely and efficiently.
- Participate in peer‑to‑peer safety observations and training sessions.
- Engage in hazard/ risk analysis and contribute to Root Cause Corrective Analysis and Corrective Action & Preventive Action events.
- Coach and share knowledge with operators and temporary employees.
- Monitor quality data in Daily Management Systems, determine root cause, and propose corrective actions.
- Assist in standard work creation and review, and suggest process improvements.
- Identify and address minor equipment and material issues, preparing data for problem‑solving sessions.
- Rotate into other zones or production lines as needed.
- Lead waste‑reduction and productivity improvement initiatives.
- Maintain dependability, teamwork, professional behavior, participation, integrity, and compliance with company policies. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience preferred.
- 5+ years of experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electrical, controls, and PLC systems (Allen‑Bradley preferred).
- Experience with Allen‑Bradley industrial networks (Device Net), Factory Talk suite, Logix platform.
- Experience with variable‑speed & servo drive programming and robotic control systems (GE‑Fanuc preferred).
- Strong mechanical aptitude, ability to read schematics, and manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work on ladders, lifts, and heights up to 60 ft; use PPE.
- Ability to lift and move heavy loads: 75 lbs frequently, 50 lbs regularly, 100 lbs occasionally, and push/pull up to 1,500 lbs with equipment.
- Work within confined spaces and around dust, cleaning solutions, and degreasers, while performing 25% keyboard/computer work.
- Flexible schedule; willingness to travel as needed.
- Hourly pay starts at $26.37. Rate increases to $27.73 after the 6‑month anniversary.
