Job Summary Homeland has partnered with a leading healthcare system to hire an Education Coordinator – Nursing. The Education Coordinator is responsible for developing, coordinating, and delivering educational programs for nursing and patient care staff. This role ensures new employees receive a thorough orientation and that current staff stay informed and compliant with evolving policies, procedures, and regulatory standards. The Education Coordinator also plays a key role in promoting professional development and supporting quality improvement initiatives across the department.

- Plan, develop, and implement orientation and education programs for new and existing nursing staff
- Conduct in‑services, workshops, and skills training on clinical practices, safety, and healthcare technologies
- Communicate policy, procedure, and regulatory updates affecting patient care and documentation
- Develop, review, and revise forms, policies, and procedures to improve efficiency and ensure compliance
- Provide one‑on‑one coaching and clinical support to nursing staff as needed
- Maintain accurate records of employee education, training, and competency validation
- Evaluate educational outcomes and recommend improvements to enhance training effectiveness
- Support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives across the department
- Ensure adherence to the company’s policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Education:
Must meet the standards required for licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) - Experience:
Minimum of two (2) years of clinical nursing experience required; experience in staff education or training preferred - Licensure:
Current Tennessee Registered Nurse (RN) license required
Work Hours:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (Exempt)
