Overview
MEDNAX is seeking a per diem Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our well-established practice of 9 neonatologists and 7 NNPs, in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Responsibilities- East Tennessee Children's Hospital is a busy 60-bed, Level-III NICU
- Our average daily census of 50 and a new state-of-the art unit
- Responsibilities include caring for babies in the NICU and Newborn Nursery
- There are approximately 7,000 deliveries per year and the hospital provides strong pediatric subspecialty support
- Services provided include high frequency ventilation and nitric oxide
- 8 hour shifts; 24 hour shifts are possible
- Current APRN national specialty certification
- Minimum of a master's degree
- TN license required
- Local candidates preferred
