Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Neuro ICU RN with at least 2 years of neuro critical care experience and required Cerner EMR proficiency.

• Work in a Neuro ICU setting with potential floating to Medical Critical Care as needed
• Patient ratios are typically 2:1 or 3:1
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours), 19:00-07:00
• Four weekend shifts required per scheduling period, including Friday and Saturday nights
• No on-call responsibilities
• Block scheduling is available
• Uses Cerner EMR;
  Cerner experience required
• Must work two out of three major holiday blocks (Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year's Eve/Day)
• Local candidates accepted within a 25 mile radius
• May need to float to Medical Critical Care based on facility needs
• Holiday coverage required for two of the three major holiday periods as assigned
• Must provide two professional references for consideration

• Active TN or compact RN license required at time of consideration; pending licenses not accepted
• Minimum 2 years of neuro critical care nursing experience
• ACLS and Stroke certifications required
• Proven Cerner EMR experience is mandatory
• First-time travelers will not be considered
