American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ER Holding position at a Level I Emergency Department, requiring 2+ years of acute care/MS tele experience and ACLS certification.

• ER Holding unit within a Level I Emergency Department
• Cares for admitted patients awaiting bed availability, either in a designated holding area or hallway
• May be assigned to an acute care area when no patients are being boarded
• Patient ratio of 6:1
• Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Required to work every other weekend and some holidays
• Floating within scope required to meet facility needs
• Open to accommodating block schedules

• Active RN license (TN or Compact) currently in hand
• Current ACLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Acute care or MS tele experience required
• Pending licenses not accepted

• Provide care for admitted ED patients awaiting inpatient bed placement
• First-time travelers considered based on relevant previous experience
