Job Description & How to Apply Below

Fox Den Country Club - Knoxville, TN

Position Title:

Assistant in Training

Reports to:

Golf Course Superintendent

Status:
Hourly

Club History

Designed and built in 1969 by renowned architect Willard Byrd, the course is positioned amid the stunning Smoky Mountains, boasting rolling hills, beautifully wooded areas, ponds, and long fairway stretches.

In 2004, Bill Bergin completed a redesign that significantly enhanced the layout. The course features multiple tees for all ages and abilities, eight water features, 52 strategically placed bunkers protecting large greens (average 7,500 sq. ft.). Each set of nine holes follows an out-and-back design, with the 9th and 18th returning to the clubhouse. The signature 18th hole is a par‑5 requiring three accurate shots to a green complex guarded by a pond on the right and a bunker on the left.

Outdoor walking is always allowed; using a golf cart is optional.
