Location:
Knoxville, TNEast TN, high-volume manufacturing plant has immediate opening for a
** Quality Assurance Manager.
** Ideal candidate will have
** BS degree** (in a technical discipline) along with
** at least 5+ years
** prior experience in a
** Quality Manager
** role.
Experience in
** Automotive*
* ** Quality
* * systems is ideal. The Quality Assurance Manager will ensure
** IATF 16949
** compliance, and will also design Quality systems and product audits. Will lead a 10-member Quality team.
This is a highly visible role reporting to the Plant Manager. Must have
** strong communication skills
** as this role involves regular interaction with customers. Knowledge of
** 8D, 5
Why, FMEA
** and
** Root Cause Analysis
** is highly important.
This is a fast-paced environment where Quality is held to a high-standard. The Quality Assurance Manager is a key member of the plant leadership team.
