Overview

GM and Food (General Merchandise, Closing, Fulfillment, Inbound, Food and Beverage, Food Service, Starbucks) position s role includes responsibilities across General Merchandise (GM) areas of the store, inbound/outbound processes, inventory accuracy, replenishment, pricing, and facilitating guest experiences through various fulfillment activities. Starting hourly rate: $15.00 USD per hour.

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks.
• Assist guests and help solve their needs in a welcoming manner.
• Thank guests and acknowledge their choice to shop at Target.
• Execute daily tasks assigned by leadership to support business priorities: receiving products, restocking shelves, organizing backroom, arranging merchandise, and putting up promotional signs for GM areas.
• If certified, operate power equipment to move merchandise or store fixtures.
• Perform processes such as pricing changes, merchandise set-up/maintenance, and inventory accuracy as directed.
• Learn how operational procedures affect inventory management, store profitability, and product availability.
• Be knowledgeable about resources, products, and services available in the total store and area to solve issues for guests.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier and digital fulfillment processes (picking/packing orders or delivering pickup orders) while complying with laws and store policies.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
• Climb ladders and move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 44 pounds without assistance.
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) with reliable attendance.
• Work in varying temperatures and environments as required by duties (e.g., Drive-Up, carryout).
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift.
