About the Role
Field Insurance Agent I – responsible for the sale and service of ACG branded and brokered insurance products, memberships, and financial products within an ACG branch.
Key Responsibilities- Use sales techniques and product knowledge to identify customer‑specific needs and generate new sales, retain existing insureds, and grow ACG’s insurance book.
- Effectively overcome objections to close sales and/or retain insureds.
- Meet or exceed sales targets as defined in the incentive plan.
- Conduct insurance reviews, assess risk, recommend products, quote, bind, and issue policies using provided tools and underwriting guidelines.
- Participate in local branch events to solicit new business and expand networks.
- Build rapport to establish customer satisfaction, loyalty, and affinity to the AAA brand.
- Respond to customer inquiries and requests about insurance, membership, and financial products.
- Refer members to other applicable lines of business (e.g., Travel & Financial Services) as appropriate.
- Base Pay: $31,200 (non‑exempt, eligible for overtime)
- Unlimited commission potential
- Elevated commission payout for first 15 months
Additional supplemental pay: $200/week first 2 months, $150/week months 3‑4, $100/week months 5‑6.

- Current Property & Casualty Insurance Sales license
- Current Life & Health Insurance Sales license, or obtain within 90 days of hire
- Must qualify, obtain, and maintain all applicable state licenses and appointments for selling/servicing Auto Club Group membership products.
- Obtain Health and Accident licenses where applicable.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Work Experience1+ year of customer‑facing experience in a fast‑paced, computer‑automated business environment (e.g., financial/banking).
Desired Skills- Strong sales skills with experience closing leads.
- Consultative selling techniques with thorough product knowledge.
- Excellent prospecting skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication and customer focus.
- Ambition, motivation, and drive.
- Proficiency with desktop systems including CRM and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent listening skills.
Temperature‑controlled branch location, irregular hours with possible weekend work, occasional travel to local branch events.
