As an Account Executive, you will work under the direction of the Market President to maintain and grow existing business relationships with key accounts, identify and pursue ways to increase sales growth and retention across our full product portfolio.

Responsibilities
  • Able to identify client business needs and proactively develop customized advertising solutions to meet client objectives.
  • Leverage strong listening and presentation skills to build lucrative client relationships.
  • Use today's innovative technologies in a business environment.
  • Stay abreast of the competitive landscape and emerging technologies to best position Summit Media in the marketplace.
  • Possess rare people skills that allow you to get out in front of problems and proactively provide solutions.
  • Excels at prospecting and aggressively seeking new clientele through networking, cold calling, canvassing, referrals or other means.
  • Creatively develop and maintain new business and current customer relationships.
  • Service accounts with avails, presentations, promotions, production and research.
  • Conceptualize and communicate creative ideas.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager.
Skills & Abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, detail orientation and time management skills.
  • Strong problem solving and persuasive abilities.
  • High work ethics and standards.
  • Proven sales success preferred.
  • Self‑starter with sense of urgency.
  • Ability to interact and influence others positively while learning and working in a fast‑paced, successful team environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred.

Experience
  • 1‑2 years of sales experience in radio sales preferred.
  • Sales experience in other media or related fields will be considered.
