Gibson Hotel Management, Inc. — an award‑winning, Knoxville‑based hotel management, investment, and development company — has an exciting opportunity for a Sales Manager at our Towne Place Suites by Marriott Knoxville‑Cedar Bluff to join our growing hospitality team!

We’re looking for a motivated, relationship‑driven professional with a true “hunter” mentality — someone who thrives on uncovering new business, cultivating long‑term partnerships, and driving revenue success.

What You’ll Do:
  • Own and exceed annual sales goals within assigned markets and accounts

  • Proactively prospect and secure new business through calls, networking, and site visits

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow room and event revenue

  • Build and maintain strong, long‑lasting client relationships

  • Represent the hotel at trade shows, community events, and networking functions

  • Prepare and present compelling proposals that communicate value and service excellence

  • Report on market trends, competitor activity, and client feedback

What You Bring:
  • Proven success in hotel sales or a similar hospitality sales role

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities

  • Strategic thinker with the drive to turn plans into results

  • Experience with social, educational, religious, and small meeting market segments preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field

  • Ability to travel for sales calls, networking events, and trade shows
