- Vehicle Patrol Officers must be at least 25 years of age.
- Ability to obtain a State of Tennessee Security Guard license.
- Verifiable Military, Law Enforcement, Corrections, or Security experience preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year verifiable customer service experience preferred.
- Must have a clean criminal background; background checks are conducted prior to employment.
- Must have a clean driving record for company/Client vehicle sites (MVR check will be conducted).
- Must be able to pass a drug test.
- Have a reliable communication such as home phone or cell phone.
- Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
- Must have a high‑school diploma.
- Uniforms provided at no charge; officers must provide solid black shoes.
- Communicate effectively with others.
- Must be able to read and understand written instructions, complete standard forms and logs, and compose reports.
- Some sites require computer experience and ability to use a tablet for security reports.
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Look professional at all times in a clean and pressed uniform.
- Check and secure doors, gates, windows, etc.
- Monitor buildings for unauthorized persons, suspicious activity, water leaks, fires, safety hazards, etc.
- Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies.
- Conduct foot patrols to ensure property, equipment, and personnel remain secure.
- Record detailed daily activity reports, incident & maintenance reports, parking violations, visitor‑truck logs, etc.
- Remain alert for violations and contact the appropriate authority.
- Provide escorts when requested.
- Customer‑service oriented and inform clients of SEI and client policies such as smoking, loitering, parking violations.
- Walking, standing, bending, light lifting, observing, detailed reporting, multitasking, greeting clients and visitors.
- Indoor and outdoor; temperatures from cold to heat.
- Open‑door policy to meet and discuss employee concerns, ideas, quality assurance, safety, scheduling needs, etc.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Certification Requirements (All)- CPR/First Aid/AED.
- Tennessee Unarmed Security License preferred.

This is a Full‑Time 3rd Shift position, with weekends and summer work required.
