Job Summary:

The candidate will assist with the installation of new gas services, main extensions, and related infrastructure while accurately documenting all work using Locusview Construction Management. This role combines hands-on field work with digital data entry.

• Assist with installation of gas and water infrastructure.
• Work under direction of the Crew Leader/Foreman
• Properly takes care of company equipment
• Maintains qualifications to perform covered tasks
• Must pass background check, pre-employment, and random drug/alcohol testing.
• Experience working in the utility construction industry.

Essential Functions:

• Demonstrate the required knowledge, skill, and physical ability to perform construction and maintenance work in the gas distribution, underground utilities, and gas service lines areas, as well as working with daily contact with the public.
• Demonstrate positive attitude and teamwork with other employees and crews.
• Use sound judgement in all work-related situations and promote personal responsibility and safety.

Work Hours and

Schedule:

• 4-Day Work Week Schedule in Summer Hours – employees work approximately 45 hours for 4 days, gaining an extra day off.
• In-house training is available in winter weather to maintain 40 hours of pay.
• Overtime 1.5 x hourly rate for weekly hours over 40.
