J.R. Hobbs is seeking an energetic and motivated HVAC Helper to join our team in Knoxville, TN. As a leading mechanical contractor in the multifamily residential new construction industry, we have over 50 years of experience providing design, build, plan, and install-to-specification HVAC systems. With 100+ active new construction building projects in nine different states throughout the Southeast, we believe strongly in developing our people and promoting from within.
Responsibilities- Assist in picking up materials and delivering to jobsites
- Provide onsite assistance to HVAC technicians
- Assist in the warehouse when not working on a jobsite
- Previous construction experience desirable; HVAC experience a plus
- Must be able to climb, crawl, and lift in excess of 50 lbs.
- Should live within 30 miles of Knoxville area
- Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
