HVAC Construction Team Lead

Standard Air Conditioning Co. in Knoxville, TN is seeking a goal-driven, results-oriented leader to oversee our field projects as a full-time HVAC Construction Team Lead! You'll play a key part in our construction and installation jobs, making sure all crew members follow safety protocols and meet our quality expectations. When you join us, you'll receive:

• Proven experience leading a construction crew
• Experience building mechanical rooms and installing HVAC systems
• Strong knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems
• Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, work in various environmental conditions, work at heights, and work in confined spaces
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

• Providing clear direction to our team of HVAC helpers and efficiently delegating tasks to support productivity and meet daily goals
• Leading daily site operations and maintaining open communication between all crew members and trade workers
• Performing regular site inspections to check safety, quality, and compliance with building codes
• Solving problems as they come up and assisting crew members as needed
• Making sure work trucks are properly stocked with the necessary tools and materials
• Maintaining all project documentation, including daily logs, time sheets, and change orders
• Serving as the point-of-contact for contractors, project managers, and external partners
