Known throughout the Mid-South for thorough, honest, and easy-to-understand home inspections, Upchurch Inspection is bringing the same high standard of excellence to Knoxville, Maryville, Oak Ridge, and nearby communities.

As a Home Inspector working with Upchurch Inspection, you’ll conduct comprehensive residential inspections, clearly document your findings, and communicate results to clients in a friendly, professional manner. We value inspectors who are detail-oriented, integrity-driven, and committed to ongoing professional growth.

• Perform residential home inspections according to InterNACHI standards of practice and Tennessee state guidelines
• Inspect major home systems including structure, roofing, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, interiors, and exteriors
• Prepare clear, detailed digital inspection reports using modern inspection software
• Communicate findings to clients in an approachable and educational manner
• Maintain professionalism and uphold Upchurch Inspection’s reputation for honesty and quality
• Stay current with building practices, safety protocols, and continuing education
• Represent the company professionally during client appointments and real estate events

• Valid Tennessee Home Inspector License
• InterNACHI Certified Professional Inspector (CPI) credential
• Strong attention to detail and observational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
• Physically capable of accessing attics, crawlspaces, roofs, and other tight or elevated areas

• Experience in home inspections, construction, trades, or real estate
• Familiarity with inspection software and digital reporting tools
• Strong customer service or client-facing communication experience
