Software Engineer II

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer II with strong experience in .NET, Python, and AWS to support and enhance enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate will contribute to the development of new features, system integrations, and cloud migration efforts, while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

This Position is open for 2 locations - Houston, TX and Knoxville, TN.

• Develop and refactor code using .NET Core / .NET 5.0+.
• Build automation pipelines and system integrations using Python.
• Maintain and enhance existing applications and codebases.
• Develop APIs using AWS Gateway and support AWS functions (Lambdas, S3, etc.).
• Assist in cloud migration efforts, including moving on-prem SQL data to serverless databases.
• Participate in Agile standups and collaborate with development teams.
• Communicate effectively across teams and with leadership.
• Contribute to technology development plans, policies, and procedures.
• Periodically meet with leadership for performance reviews.

• Minimum 4 years of software development experience.
• Associate’s degree or higher in Engineering, Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proficiency in .NET development (.NET Core / .NET 5.0+).
• Experience with Python development.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambdas, APIs, S3, etc.).
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and terminology.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work onsite 2 days per week.

• Experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices.
• Exposure to cloud migration and serverless architecture.
