Operations Administrator
The Veterinary Defence Society (VDS) is seeking an organised and customer focused Operational Administrator to join our Claims Operations Team on a 12 month fixed term contract.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be the first point of contact for members seeking claims advice and support, helping to deliver an exceptional service throughout the lifecycle of a claim. You will also support a range of policy administration activities, including new business enquiries, renewals and policy changes.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in financial services and customer service while working with veterinary professionals across the UK and Ireland. You will collaborate with colleagues across Claims, Underwriting, Finance and IT, developing valuable skills and knowledge in a supportive and professional environment.

- Manage and maintain accurate records across a variety of systems.
- Support policy administration and credit control activities.
- Liaise with internal teams, including Finance and Claims, to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Record and manage member complaints and feedback in line with regulatory requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance the member experience.
- Support departmental and business-wide projects.
- Process incoming correspondence and maintain accurate electronic records.

We offer a competitive salary and 30 days holiday entitlement plus Bank Holidays, if that's not enough, you can always buy up to 5 days pro-rata on top via our salary sacrifice scheme. A non-contributory individual pension, plus a full PMI and Cashplan. Death in Service is 4 x basic salary. We also provide an enhanced absence scheme and Maternity/Paternity pay.
