We are proud to be working with a fantastic specialist SEN school in Knutsford, set within a peaceful countryside location and offering outstanding facilities, specialist resources, and exceptional training opportunities. The school is seeking passionate SEN Tutors to join their team for immediate and September starts.
The school supports pupils with a wide range of complex needs, including ASC, autism, PMLD, and other neurological diagnoses, and places a strong emphasis on individualised learning, therapeutic support, and staff development.
About the Role:
As a SEN Tutor, you will plan and deliver highly differentiated, engaging lessons that meet the individual needs of your pupils, working closely with a skilled multidisciplinary team to ensure every learner makes meaningful progress.
Your responsibilities will include:
✔ Planning and delivering creative, personalised lessons
✔ Supporting pupils with ASC, PMLD, and complex learning needs
✔ Leading and working collaboratively with a team of support staff
✔ Creating a structured, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
✔ Using specialist resources and facilities to enhance learning
✔ Monitoring progress and contributing to EHCP targets

The Ideal Candidate :
✔ QTS or QTLS (essential)
✔ Previous experience teaching within a SEN or specialist setting

✔ Strong communication and teamwork skills
✔ A commitment to inclusive, child-centred education
