Vehicle Weights Engineer: Mass Optimization & Compliance

Join our client as a Vehicle Weights Engineer and be an integral part of their innovative automotive programme. In this role, you will oversee vehicle weight data coordination, manage programme-level weight targets, and lead resolution of key mass-related issues, ensuring vehicles meet strict weight and load standards.

Utilising your expertise in vehicle mass properties, geometry, and first principles, you will generate and validate loading charts, support prototype testing, and lead the certification process to ensure compliance with industry regulations. Your contributions will help optimise vehicle attributes, supporting market weight monitoring and programme milestones.

This role offers an exciting opportunity for a candidate with a background in engineering, physics or maths, with familiarity in vehicle modelling, data analysis, and automotive weight reduction technologies.
