Internal Sales Engineer - to 48k

I'm looking for an ambitious Internal Sales Engineer to join the team of a global manufacturing business. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting customers, developing new business opportunities, and delivering technically accurate solutions that make a real impact.
What You'll Be Doing- Preparing detailed commercial and technical quotations for customers.
- Managing enquiries from initial contact through to successful order placement.
- Identifying new business opportunities and growing existing customer accounts.
- Building strong relationships with customers and supporting our external sales team.
- Reading engineering drawings and interpreting technical specifications.
- Providing expert commercial and technical advice to customers.
- Maintaining accurate CRM records and tracking project opportunities.
- Ensuring quotations are delivered on time and meet company margin requirements.
- Collaborating across departments to deliver exceptional customer service.
You'll ideally have:
- A degree, HND or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Previous experience in technical sales, internal sales or applications engineering.
- The ability to read engineering drawings and understand technical specifications.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive approach with the confidence to take ownership and drive opportunities forward.
- A commitment to delivering high professional standards and outstanding customer service.
