· Rate of £22.29 p/hr which is equivalent to £44,045 per annum

Hours:
· Mon-Thurs, 7am-4pm and Fri, 7am – 12 noon Based in the Knutsford area, my client is a leading sheet metal manufacturing company who are market leaders in their field. They are seeking to recruit an experienced Maintenance Engineer (electrical bias) who has manufacturing experience. As Maintenance Engineer you will respond to breakdowns and maintain site wide electrical and Mechanical systems in order to minimise engineering downtime.

Role – Maintenance Engineer Conduct planned maintenance, breakdown and statutory checks as required. Liaise with the Engineering Manager, to prioritise workload and ensure adequate resources are made available to resolve issues. Working as part of engineering team on site, strive to keep engineering downtime to a minimum, prioritising tasks to meet business needs.
Improve machine availability, learn and understand machine processes and operation Control contractors; induction and permits, ensuring safe and compliant work on site. Work within the company health, safety and environmental policies ensuring permit to work and isolation systems are employed where practicable whilst working on electrical and mechanical systems. Ensure that all equipment can be safely isolated in accordance with legislation and good engineering practice.
Be prepared to participate in continuous improvement processes and undergo any training needs. Participate in a range of business related projects and processes both engineering and non-engineering. Person
· Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing environment
· Must have an electrical qualification
