Overview

My client is a small HNW business near Knutsford and they are currently looking for an experienced Paraplanner to join their team.

As a Paraplanner you'll play a vital role in supporting their Financial Planners to deliver bespoke solutions to their high-net-worth clients. This is a client-focused, detail-oriented position. You'll be part of a team that values long-term client relationships.

Key purpose

• Support Financial Planners in delivering tailored advice to high-net-worth clients
• Maintain personal and professional development
• Contribute to a client-focused team, working closely with all colleagues

Key responsibilities

• Establish and interpret client needs and objectives
• Gather and analyse financial information
• Research and prepare tailored recommendations
• Present financial solutions clearly and compliantly to the Financial Planner
• Support ongoing client reviews and relationship management
• Ensure all documentation meets regulatory standards
• Maintain systems for control and review
• Stay up to date with industry developments

Skills & qualifications

• Diploma qualified
• Proactive mindset and willingness to show initiative
• Strong technical knowledge of financial products and planning
• Excellent report writing and analytical skills
• Relationship management and communication skills
• High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• Capable of working both independently and as part of team to deliver results
• Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements
