Cleaning at LUFT will include working to the National Standards of Cleaning 2025, which incorporates General Cleaning Duties, Floor Maintenance, Enhanced and Deep cleaning of patient area, clinics and offices.

We have exciting vacancy within the Domestic Department at Knutsford business park, fertility clinic this is a permanent position

Shift 6am - 10am - Monday to Friday

Main duties of the job
  • Cleaning wards and clinics and offices to high standards.
  • Cleaning wards and clinics to high standards.
  • Adhering to infection control policy's and procedures
  • Cleaning experience essential for all posts
  • Cleaning external areas across the trust
  • A good understanding of written and verbal communication, you should be able to follow direction, and be able to work in the wider team and on you own. You will need to be physically fit to carry out duties including mopping, damp dusting, lifting and carrying

Person Specification Qualifications
  • GCSE/Equivalent
Knowledge
  • A general understanding of why cleanliness in a patient/healthcare environment is important
  • Health and safety basic knowledge
Skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
Experience
  • Previous Domestic experience
  • Previous healthcare environment experience
  • Previous use of cleaning machinery, floor polishing machinery
  • Knowledge of colour coding systems
Other
  • Willingness and ability to undertake further training as necessary
