Capgemini Financial Services is seeking a talented and experienced AWS Architect in Knutsford for a full‑time hybrid role.

• Design and implement large
  
  Cácscale distributed systems with a focus on resiliency, scalability, and observability
• Define cloud‑native strategies and architectures for enterprise applications; collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Create technical design specifications, reference architectures and reusable patterns
• Drive adoption of donut the Dev Ops practices, CI/CD pipelines and automation across teams
• Lead and mentor teams in Agile delivery models and ensure alignment with enterprise standards lifecycle

• Cloud Platforms: AWS (IaaS, PaaS, Serverless, Containers – EKS, Docker, Kubernetes) and Databases with strong expertise in Postgre
  
  SQL plus experience with No
  
  SQL (Dynamo
  
  DB, Document
  
  DB)
• Infrastructure as Code; hands‑on experience with Terraform, Git Lab CI/CD, micro‑services, containers and deep knowledge of Kubernetes orchestration and exploit containerized solutions
• Dev Ops Tools:
  Jenkins, Git Lab and integration with various CI/CD tools
• Application Design: API‑first and event‑driven architectures and prior hands‑on experience with the Kafka ecosystem
• Observability Monitoring:
  Familiarity with tools for logging, metrics and tracing, especially ELK and observability tools

• Knowledge of data modelling best practices and Agile methodologies
• Experience with Atlassian tools JIRA and Confluence for project  and documentation
• Ability to own and drive projects end‑to‑end in an Agile environment

• Familiarity with ecosystem and platforms for faster onboarding
• Understanding of financial services domain, especially credit cards
• Knowledge of TOGAF principles and enterprise architecture frameworks
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or Associate (preferred)
