Capgemini Financial Services is seeking a talented and experienced AWS Architect in Knutsford for a full‑time hybrid role.
- Design and implement large
Cácscale distributed systems with a focus on resiliency, scalability, and observability - Define cloud‑native strategies and architectures for enterprise applications; collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Create technical design specifications, reference architectures and reusable patterns
- Drive adoption of donut the Dev Ops practices, CI/CD pipelines and automation across teams
- Lead and mentor teams in Agile delivery models and ensure alignment with enterprise standards lifecycle
- Cloud Platforms: AWS (IaaS, PaaS, Serverless, Containers – EKS, Docker, Kubernetes) and Databases with strong expertise in Postgre
SQL plus experience with No
SQL (Dynamo
DB, Document
DB) - Infrastructure as Code; hands‑on experience with Terraform, Git Lab CI/CD, micro‑services, containers and deep knowledge of Kubernetes orchestration and exploit containerized solutions
- Dev Ops Tools:
Jenkins, Git Lab and integration with various CI/CD tools - Application Design: API‑first and event‑driven architectures and prior hands‑on experience with the Kafka ecosystem
- Observability Monitoring:
Familiarity with tools for logging, metrics and tracing, especially ELK and observability tools
- Knowledge of data modelling best practices and Agile methodologies
- Experience with Atlassian tools JIRA and Confluence for project and documentation
- Ability to own and drive projects end‑to‑end in an Agile environment
- Familiarity with ecosystem and platforms for faster onboarding
- Understanding of financial services domain, especially credit cards
- Knowledge of TOGAF principles and enterprise architecture frameworks
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or Associate (preferred)
