• Previous experience within an IT Helpdesk, Service Desk, or Technical Support role
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Experience using IT ticketing systems
• An understanding of systems such as Dot Matrix would be advantageous
• A proactive approach and willingness to learn new skills
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

• Providing first-line IT support to internal users across the company
• Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues
• Logging, monitoring, and updating support tickets
• Installing, configuring, and maintaining IT hardware and software
• Supporting users with system access, passwords, and general IT queries
• Escalating more complex technical issues where appropriate
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation
• Assisting with ongoing IT projects and system improvements

We are recruiting for an IT Helpdesk Technician to join our team based in Knutsford. This is a temporary / temp-to-perm, on-site opportunity offering £14.90 per hour for 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexible working hours between 8:00am and 5:00pm.
