Are you an experienced Senior Buyer with a passion for global sourcing and strategic procurement?

We're looking for a commercially‑minded procurement professional to take ownership of an international supplier network, sourcing precision‑machined components for a market‑leading engineering manufacturer. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business where you'll have genuine influence over purchasing strategy, supplier development, and supply chain resilience.

• Developing and managing an international supplier base across Europe and Asia.
• Negotiating commercial agreements to secure the best value, quality and delivery.
• Identifying new sourcing opportunities and driving cost‑saving initiatives.
• Managing supplier performance and ensuring a resilient supply chain.
• Monitoring market trends, mitigating risk and improving procurement strategies.
• Working closely with engineering, production and operations to support business growth.

• Proven experience purchasing precision‑machined components internationally.
• Strong supplier negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Experience working with overseas suppliers, particularly across Asia and Europe.
• Good knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
• A strategic thinker who enjoys improving processes and delivering commercial value.
• Experience with in engineering, manufacturing, valves, oil & gas or similar industries would be highly advantageous.

• Salary of £45,000-£60,000 depending on experience.
