Your Purpose Will Be

Fairmont Cheshire, The Mere are seeking a skilled and detail‑oriented Technician – Kenfix to join our team. As a Kenfix Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing Kenfix equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimising downtime for the hotel.

Job Description
  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on Kenfix equipment and related systems
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in Kenfix machinery
  • Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and longevity
  • Calibrate and adjust Kenfix equipment to meet performance specifications
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and implement effective solutions
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance
  • Collaborate with other technicians and production staff to optimise equipment efficiency
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while working with industrial machinery
  • Stay updated on the latest Kenfix technologies and maintenance techniques
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians and operators
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance of Kenfix equipment
  • Train and mentor junior staff on proper Kenfix equipment operation and maintenance procedures
  • Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to source parts and resolve complex technical issues
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment efficiency and reduce downtime
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to Kenfix equipment operation and maintenance
Qualifications
  • Technical diploma or vocational training in mechanical or electrical engineering, higher technical qualification, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a technician, preferably with Kenfix equipment
  • Relevant experience in a similar capacity within a hotel or facilities management environment.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues
  • Strong knowledge of Kenfix equipment systems and components
  • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and schematics
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities, with proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Highly organised and self‑motivated, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain strong attention to detail.
  • Results‑oriented with a commitment to operational excellence, safety, and service quality.
  • Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and a collaborative approach.
  • Maintains a professional appearance and demeanour consistent with brand standards.
